Acupressure is like acupuncture’s DIY cousin—no needles involved, just your fingers and a few minutes of your time. These points can be especially helpful if your symptoms flare up between acupuncture sessions.
🌬 Gallbladder 20 (GB20)
Located at the base of your skull, in the hollows where your neck muscles meet. Use your thumbs to gently press upward toward your eyes in small circles for about 1–2 minutes.Great for: sinus congestion, dizziness, red/itchy eyes, and headaches.
👃 Large Intestine 20 (LI20)
Found right next to your nostrils, in the groove between your nose and cheeks. Apply firm pressure upward toward the eyes, and breathe deeply through your nose.Great for: sinus pressure and stuffy nose—especially with hay fever.
🧠 Governing Vessel 23 (GV23)
This one’s on your scalp, about an inch behind your hairline, right on the centerline. Press or massage gently for a minute or two.Great for: facial puffiness, rhinitis, and head congestion.
