My name is Liana Russo. Whether you’re in need of recovery from acute pain, a chronic illness or imbalance, or emotional/mental distress, I am here to provide a focused and individualized treatment plan, as well as a comfortable space to let go of the many stresses of life.

Originally I’m from Philadelphia, PA, but it turned out that city-life didn’t agree with me - being closer to nature was what I needed for my body and mind. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to provide quality care to this community, it’s what I love to do.

I completed my Master Degree in Oriental Medicine in 2015 at a 4 year integrative medicine college in California, where acupuncturists are taught to be primary care providers. Through this program I also studied abroad at a medical college in Shikoku, Japan, and completed a landmark internship at the Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. Outside of my school’s curriculum, I apprenticed for 2 years under Dr. Barbara Martello, a specialist of a style of acupuncture called Japanese Meridian Therapy. I also completed a 4 part certification process in Esoteric Acupuncture, as taught by Dr. Mikio Sankey.
 
In addition to acupuncture (Classical Chinese, TCM, Japanese, & Esoteric), I provide therapeutic cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, and Medical Qi Gong when necessary. I am a certified Chinese Medicine herbalist and prescribe individualized herbal compounding as well as pre-prepared formulas.

Having been trained and certified in several modalities of trauma resolution therapy, I also offer my treatment room as a safe space to discuss and release hardships, traumas, emotional stress, and mental struggles.
